Suction pressure (measured in Pa or kPa) is the engineering metric that determines how effectively a vacuum cleaner extracts embedded dirt from carpet fibres and floor gaps, as opposed to airflow (m³/h) which describes loose debris removal from open surfaces. The WDX2's 22.5 KPA suction combined with a Universal Motor motor is calibrated for Indian cleaning contexts where fine silica dust from construction sites and road surfaces requires higher static pressure to extract than the coarser debris common in Western markets. HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filtration is defined by its ability to capture 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns — the most penetrating particle size for fibrous filters. In Indian urban environments with elevated PM2.5 levels, HEPA filtration ensures the vacuum doesn't re-circulate fine particulate matter back into breathing air during cleaning, which standard filters permit. Wet-dry vacuum design requires the motor to be isolated from the dust collection chamber in a way that prevents moisture ingress, which would cause short circuits and motor damage.
